OrcaFlex based analysis, supporting   installation analysis scopes as well as system design and tender scopes.

COOEC Subsea Ltd (CNOOC Group)

Shenzhen China (2016 to 2021)

Lead Deepwater Riser Engineer / Advisor

Acting   as advisor to COOEC’s engineering design and analysis department. Responsible   for implementing new analysis standards and training programmes as well as delivering   own workscopes, in addition to advising R&D projects.

Lihua   16-2/20-2 Project –   Responsible for ongoing workscopes into 2020/21 for installation of rigid   structures (Sleepers, PLETs, etc), as well as flexible products including   Cables and Risers. South China Sea. CNOOC Client.

Lingshui   17-2 Project – FEED and   Initial Mooring Line installation, Suction Pile installation workscopes. South China Sea. CNOOC+ Client

HASBAH   Project – Subsea7 Client, for Saudi Aramco   Owner. Shallow water Gulf installation analysis of large 35kV Cables, and   small 15kV cables, as well as Umbilicals.

PANYU   Project - 15/34 Contract block of Pearl   River Mouth Basin, South China Sea) – STP Buoy replacement analysis. 250Te   Buoy disconnecting from FPSO, and abandonment of associated moorings, risers,   and cables. Towing assessment of STP structure to shore, with reconnecting   all items to newly replaced STP. Analysis to replace MWA main chains. 100m   water depth.

Wenchang – South China Sea. Rigid riser to Jacket installations,   flexible lay of umbilicals, and subsea tie-ins, and barge lift off analysis   of spools.

ENPING   PR 24-2 (NanHai Shengli) –   South China Sea. Deepwater mooring leg replacement project.

Internal Tendering and research   studies for shallow and deepwater heavy lift operations, as well as   flexibles/umbilical installation.

Moho   Nord; KAOMBO (STTR design (Installation, Fatigue studies)); CORAL (Lazy and   Pliant wave Tender); Golar (LNG Tender); Cameila Cobalt (FPSO Lazy wave   Tender); Jubilee (FPSO - Existing Fatigue (largest verifications study I have   ever been charged with) / design checks); Sankofa (Large scale lazy and   pliant wave, Tender); Tullow Oil ltd.

Acting   as a final dynamic analysis ‘go to’ for all project team leads and managers   across Technip’s head office.

Working within a four-person team   structure or independently depending on project requirements, responsible for   the Engineering Analysis of both direct client in house projects and or   subcontractors specialising in the use of OrcaFlex software.

Main   clients: BP, Shell, Maersk Oil, Conoco Phillips, Premier Solan, Jee, Total   and Talisman.

Specialising   in the dynamic analysis of offshore structures to demonstrate the integrity   of the design and the installation procedure covering but not limited to:   Premier Solan Flexible Risers (armoured wire type) up to 1m diameter with 2m   buoyancy modules, installation of Caissons both external and internal to   Jacket & Topsides and over-boarding of various large rigid structures   such as PLETs, PAUs, Skid Frames, Suction Piles and GRP Covers etc.

Senior Engineering Consultant

Engineering consultant for principal   owner of ORCAFLEX, ORCABEND, ORCALAY, VIVA and Shear7 software, on design   projects and analysis of existing client supplied designs. Providing   technical training to Project Engineers of license holders of ORCAFLEX with   full technical support either remotely or on location. 

ORCAFLEX training: One of 6 consultants’ worldwide providing OrcaFlex training courses tailored to client   specific requirements.
